A Cute Country Wedding..

In April, I had the pleasure of photographing the Larson wedding. I met Kayla and Chad for their engagement shoot in fall of 2012, and I knew right away that I would have a blast on our journey together!! Their wedding was no disappointment. Chad and Kayla are such a fun loving couple that are so very much in love and they had an excellent group of people to share their special day with. My husband, Ted, and I shot the wedding together, and the lovely couple and their friends made us feel just as part of the wedding as they were.

When Kayla told me her cousin was helping her with all of the wedding planning, I had no idea just how cute and country this wedding would be. From the ceremony to the reception, everything was beautifully styled with charming rustic details and a variety of gorgeous rich colors. Hannah Thompson of Beyond Forever Events did the event planning, decor, and floral for this spectacular wedding.

Of course, you can't do country without some cowboy boots and a barn. We stopped off at a friend's farm for photos and we captured some gorgeous shots of the bride and groom, their wedding party, and all their fabulous cowboy boots! Some of these photos are my favorite to date. :)

I love photographing weddings because I always have the best clients that always turn into the greatest friendships, and the Larsons are no exception. Kayla and Chad are an amazing couple that Ted and I are so lucky to get to know!

Maternity ~ Baby Engels

I am in love with how this session turned out! I had been dying to shoot someone in the field by my house (hehe with a camera of course!!), and this session did not disappoint! Hanna and Matt rocked this session and I hope they're as happy with the results as I am! The colors were beautiful (in part because of their beautiful color scheme in their outfit selection), the lighting turned out beautiful, and of course there's that beautiful baby bump! I'm so happy for them and so honored to be chosen to photograph their maternity photos. :) Congratulations Hanna and Matt!

The J Family ~ Sarah's Deals

I recently had the honor of photographing the lovely Sarah, from Sarah's Deals, and her beautiful family! They were so fun and friendly, and I had a great time working with them on their family portraits! I love when my clients come with ideas, because it means that they're excited about their photos (which makes me very happy), and even their children shared some great ideas of poses and backgrounds. :)  The J family children were both inspiring and energetic, and do I even need to say how photogenic they ALL are?!
